HP Designs Trunk Show

We have over 200 needlepoint canvases in the store from HP Designs. These include some wonderful Orientals, Florals, Geometrics, Animals and more, many on 13 mesh. They are 20% off during the show.

Mermaid Bathing

Robin (one of our favorite customers) started the mermaid at ANG. Her comments:

“Mermaid Bathing was designed by Rhonda Ahrens for Julia’s Needleworks. Suzanne Howren gave my the ideas for her hair, Meredith W. was great with the sequins for her scales, Tony was interesting with his ideas for her tail (folding over ribbon) as well as back ground work, and Beth R Robertson just agreed with what the other three said! The mermaid is resting in a bath tub on a tile floor with a window looking out to an under water scene. Lots of fun! Wait til you see her bosoms………………very well padded!”

Julia’s Needleworks from ANG

We just received 100 or so designs from Julia’s Needleworks directly from the ANG show in Philadelphia. There are designs by Peter Ashe, Gina B, AGA and others. Many are on 13 mesh and all are 20% off during the show.

Here are some more designs we picked up from Alice Peterson in Baltimore. The peacock is one of my favorites – it calls out for beads! The owl is a great design on 13m.
