Kelly Clark trunk show

Kelly Clark’s trunk show landed on Amelia Island with over 400 designs. The show is over but we can order any of these for you.

For Halloween fans, there are bats and hats and creepy creatures. For Christmas, candies and apples, Santa’s and socks and more. Then there are the tassels, the Please Come In signs and At Home With Kelly canvases.

And to top it off, Kelly is introducing a new canvas artist, Dan DiPaolo, whose whimsical designs are irresistible.

These are just a few of the choices. Many canvases are painted on 13 mesh and many come with stitch guides. And yes, we have the mermaid featured in Needlepoint Now in stock.

Moondance by Sandra Gilmore

One of the terrific canvases in the Once in a Blue Moon trunk show is called “Moondance”. When Brenda Hart was in the shop as a visiting star. she said that two of her students had stitched the canvas, each of them taking her up on the suggestion that they bead the entire skeleton. Since then, I have not been able to get the canvas out of my head. Moondance, anyone?

This design and many more are available on our website at 20% off until March 28 2011.

Tapestry Tent needlepoint Trunk Show

Liz Goodrich-Dillon of Tapestry Tent is the most amazing artist. Her canvases are so beautifully painted that they could be framed without stitching. Her animals are lifelike, her holiday canvases (especially Halloween) are fun and her Christmas stockings are incredible. I think her large Nativity set is one of the best in needlepoint.

I especially like the new Christmas and Easter marches and will be doing stitch guides and classes for these. They all are available on our web site at 20% off until July 17th.

NM Arts needlepoint at the Bristly Thistle

We lost track of NM Arts until their rep called on us in Florida. Their canvases are beautifully painted with a generous amount of blank canvas surrounding the design, allowing the stitcher to adjust the size to her/his needs.

We have several new designs from them on our website.

Halloween needlepoint signs

The leaves are beginning to turn and I have been turning the pages of my Martha Stewart Living archives for Halloween decorating ideas. I was already primed for the season when we went to the cash and carry market in St Charles MO last weekend, so I bought a few really spooky and fun signs for halloween. I love signs to hang by the door—I am working my way up to having at least one for every occasion. Perhaps one of these will strike your fancy.
