Our new needlepoint store

Well it’s one week later and we are in controlled chaos in the store. Our new store has fresh white painted walls, parquet wood floors and lots of natural light for matching colors. Upstairs we have a classroom area, stitching area and a photography area for our web pictures. We are still in boxes and finding canvases is sometimes challenging, but we are all excited with our new space. We installed slat wall on one wall of the store which allowed us to take threads out of baskets and boxes. It makes it seem as though we increased our thread inventory by 25%–now we can see even more possibilities when we pull threads for a canvas. See the inside pictures on our website! Golf Needlepoint Christmas Ornaments

These golf bag ornaments are finished just like a golf bag and come with two golf clubs. The perfect gift for the golfer in your house. I stitched one in our daughter’s school colors to commemorate her 4 years on the team and her tenure as golf team captain. See more ornaments on our Christmas web page. (posted by Michele)

Michigania Needlepoint Banner

This canvas portrays many of the things that make Michigan unique. Think Cherry Festivals, golf, sailing, water skiing, morel mushroom hunting, snow skiing and sightseeing. And don’t forget that Henry Ford kicked off the American automobile industry in Michigan.

Not a Michigander? This artist paints many cities and states in this series, such as Hilton Head, Illinois, Virginia, Wyoming and Boston. Email us with your request.

Trillium & needlepoint in Northern Michigan

If Northern Michigan picked the state flower it would be the trillium. They blanket our forests and road sides for a brief time around Mothers’ Day. Now you can enjoy them all year round. Plant some of your own in needlepoint.

Summery fruit needlepoint from All About Stitching

I found these fruit canvases at the San Diego trade show. The artist, Kim Walton, had a stitched model made up as a darling purse—very fun and summery. They would be wonderful as pillows or framed pieces in a kitchen or sun-room. There are more examples on the Dede Ogden page.

How cute is this canvas made up as a purse? We can finish any canvas in a variety of purse styles, from simple to over the top!
