12 days of Christmas Needlepoint – Partridge in a Pear Tree

I’ve started stitching the 12 days of Christmas roll-up nutcrackers by JB. Here’s the first one—a partridge in a pear tree. My favorite stitch was the modified rice stitch with Kreinik gold braid that I used for the gold trim.

The bad news is that since I have two daughters, I will have to stitch another set of 12 days ornaments. Oh wait, that’s good news!
