Our new needlepoint store

March 29, 2008

Well it’s one week later and we are in controlled chaos in the store. Our new store has fresh white painted walls, parquet wood floors and lots of natural light for matching colors. Upstairs we have a classroom area, stitching area and a photography area for our web pictures. We are still in boxes and finding canvases is sometimes challenging, but we are all excited with our new space. We installed slat wall on one wall of the store which allowed us to take threads out of baskets and boxes. It makes it seem as though we increased our thread inventory by 25%–now we can see even more possibilities when we pull threads for a canvas. See the inside pictures on our website! Where is your new store located? It looks and sounds like a wonderful arrangement and I would love to shop there.

    Michele,

I have been meaning to send you a card to congratulate you on purchasing the new store! I think it is wonderful! I am so glad to see your growth up in that area. It is great.

I loved seeing the picture of the store and hearing about it on the website. Do keep us posted about ALL the details for those of us who live out of town and do not get to visit often.

I am so pleased for you. The other store was filled to the brim. I trust you have lots of space in this store to grow. I am sure you are a fantastic teacher and are a great promoter of needlepoint. The gals who work for you are also.

Best of luck, but it isn’t luck that makes you successful and I know you already know that.

    Mary Lou Heinig
