I love this Santa, but I love the end result when you use the stitch guide from Needlepoint 202 even more. Ruth Dilts created magic with beading, couching and the twisted stem stitch, among other techniques. I’ve raved about the book Needlepoint 202 before and I have taught a class from the book. It features 12 different techniques, each wonderfully illustrated. The bonus is that it also features 12 stitch guides with complete directions and very clear color photographs. The book and one of the featured canvases (say, like this Santa) would make a super present. You can see the finished canvas on our website.
